What does it mean to be enlightened to you? Is it something you invest your time, energy, and resources pursuing? Is it a worthy ideal of yours?

How would your life change if you were to suddenly reach a degree of enlightenment?

I’m sure you have a bright idea hidden somewhere in the back of your mind that you just can’t wait to test out. Of course, you’re probably aware that you’re not the only one with brilliant ideas. So what motivates you to develop those creative and inspiring juices so that they evolve into their utmost flavor?

It’s always best to set a personal goal where you can devote your attention, set your intention, and work in a conscientious and methodical manner towards the fulfillment of your goal. Imagine accomplishing your goal in a way that exceeds your expectations as you “think into results”. It may be a fantasy to do the most in record time. Be sure to give yourself a deadline for your achievement. This will help you avoid “the drift” and keep on target. Sporting a correct and positive attitude in whatever you do will make things easier, and even more enjoyable.

Here are some tips to make it through the week when things don’t go as you envisioned or planned them ideally. Be quick on your feet to pivot when it doesn’t flow. Iterate, practice, and apply new tools and approaches to complete your objective. Examine it from multiple angles and perspectives. Seek feedback for improvement from a trusted and vested source. Be mindful that an idea takes time to form and develop in your mind and consciousness and is always at work while you are busy working on other tasks and or project(s). When you relax and go for a walk or take a warm bath your mind will yield creative ideas, solutions, and answers that you seek.

Embracing positive thinking can help you realize things that you never thought possible. Thinking big is indeed the American Way and that is what made our country prosperous.

1. Take passionate action towards living your life by design. Talk is cheap. Action = deposits in the bank of a passionately authentic future. Without motion, inertia can take over and you could get stuck. Don’t let that happen to you. Stay in motion and simply course correct when necessary.

This is a perfect example of where dreams are made- where you start by tinkering with your mind, then with your hands. And if the idea weakens, you can always go back to it later until you add to it, construct it, and finally finish it. After some time and additional inputs of knowledge and insights, the idea matures and evolves as it develops, improves, and undergoes a refining process. Stick with it. Persist.

2. Commit to yourself as well as those you love to create powerfully a life you love. Instead of reacting, devote yourself to birthing from your heart and soul, out of love rather than fear. The American Dream will always be there, but a dream will remain a dream without taking massive and consistent action. Be amazed as the transformation begins.

3. Recognize and embrace the thought that each moment is perfect regardless of its outcome. Every time you hit on something that may at first appear to be too challenging, difficult, or even extreme, why not give it a shot and see if it will work, and how it could add exponentially to the quality of your life. Do things that frighten you and prove to yourself that you can overcome both your fears and obstacles. Remember The Obstacle Is The Way (just like the book title says) You will be surprised to see if there are other ways to get the task done in time. If you are not pleased with the outcome, decide to use that moment to learn from and make the appropriate shift and changes.

4. Marinate completely in a place of gratitude. Be resourceful and learn to utilize what you have in your hands at your disposal and make use of all in the most constructive way possible. You will notice that slipping into neediness will become less of a habit or tendency when you repeatedly lean in towards gratitude and move away from poverty consciousness.

5. Apply the “Passion Formula of Recognize/Reevaluate/Restore” in place of the Shoulda/Woulda/Coulda stinky whirlwind. The former is based on gaining increased knowledge and abundance while the latter focuses on staying stuck in the mire and mud of scarcity and lack. As you face or deal with people or attempt to manage and complete tasks that may seem harder than scaling the summit of the Himalayas, allow yourself to realize that the task is just as important as giving out orders to your subordinates. Developing your skills so that you become so good that they can’t ignore you should become your prerogative. Attain a level of Mastery in your chosen field and industry.

6. Maintain your sense of humor and be comfortable with laughing at and with yourself whenever possible. You may find yourself quite entertaining when you loosen up! I have yet to see a comedian ever go hungry even though his jokes are as ‘old as great-grandma’. Life has so much to offer. Don’t waste your precious and finite time moping around in self-pity. Remember that Humor is very attractive and good for your soul. Indulge in molding and shaping your sense of humor.

7. Believe that you are the architect of your destiny. No one can take your bright future from you except for you! Don’t get in your own way! Create your life authentically. As long as there’s still breath in your body, there is no end to how much you can accomplish in a lifetime. The concept of thinking big is all about stretching yourself, making space for higher consciousness, focusing on your grand Life Mission, Vision, and Purpose, and enjoying your work as you provide excellent value and serve others. All of this these components working together in harmony can eventually lead to celebrating a monumental discovery that is born within you. Set yourself up for success and make success inevitable so that you can both work hard and watch everything flow into place with perfect precision.

It’s interesting how people get swallowed up by something trivial as learning to use a computer when nowadays top computer companies are manufacturing software that even the kids can use. I don’t mean to be condescending, but that’s the idea of not thinking positively, you’ll just end up as a dim bulb in a dark corner. So instead of subjecting yourself to that and missing out on the tremendous opportunity before you to shine your light. Decide and muster up the determination to carve out your individual and unique path by taking the first step and the next and keep going with a positive attitude, and optimistic outlook.
